I stayed here with my son and my husband, and we LOVED this place. Our room was really spacious: Two queen beds (which looked more like doubles, but who cares) and a separate L-shaped couch (which I assume had a sofa bed as well). If for some reason you need to stay in Hayward, Wisconsin, stay here. Don't go to the Super 8, the Motel 6, none of that crap. Stay at the local joint, owned by a local. Clean place to stay, and quiet enough. Owner loves fishing, especially Muskellunge fishing. He told us he would take us out fishing the next day, but then cancelled on us. Don't let that deter you from booking a night at the motel, however. It's a pretty good establishment.

We were surprised at how much we enjoyed staying there. It wasn’t just a hotel room. It was a “home base” where we could decompress peacefully in a comfortable room from the adventures we had through the day! The staff were amazing. This will definitely be the place we stay when we come to Ashland! (We’ve stayed at other places in Ashland but this one we’ll come back to!)
