"Arrived at farm to find the bedroom very old, cold and very dated, a minute kitchen with minute facilities with the minute fridge already fully stocked by the next rooms tenants and we weren’t prepared to share a 2 ring stove. The bathroom only had a hand held shower head hanging off the wall over the bath. It was only £42 per night but it was not even worth a second look to be honest."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Gite Four a Pain. The accommodation was clean with excellent facilities and plenty of room for a couple. Our particular favourites were the generous welcome pack, the great shower, the wood burner and, of course, Max the donkey. We hope to visit again soon."

"Two black marks against my name on our arrival as we arrived a whole 5 mins before time - and I perched on a stool in the hallway to say hello to the dog to be told I mustn’t sit on the stool as it’s an antique!!
