"We stayed at this same hotel a few days earlier before taking the ferry to Newfoundland. We chose to stay again on the return trip due to its' convenient location near the ferry terminal. The room was slightly different and included a small counter with a sink, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The room was spacious, with two queen beds and the bathroom was a good size, with a tub/shower combo and lots of towels and face cloths. "We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean, comfortable, and felt very welcoming. Cheryl was a great host and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was great . Everything was fresh, with a real farm-to-table feel. We would definitely stay here again."

"The first room we were assigned was filthy, we asked if we could be moved and the girl on the front desk was very sweet and accommodating and upgraded us to a suite (which was very nice and clean) the breakfast was delicious and staff was great however the hotel itself (other then our suite and the lobby) is very run down and dirty."

"Be aware that check-In time is listed at 3 p.m. but rooms may not be ready until after 4 p.m. We arrived with a tight window to get ready for a wedding that began at 4:30 p.m., but we could not get into our room until 3:30 p.m. Staff stated that the rooms were all booked the night before and they would not have them ready until up to 4 p.m. Multiple people were waiting to check in at 3 p.m. but could not get into their rooms.
