"I drove 8 hours and wanted to check into the hotel about 3pm. The office was locked and they have a sign with a phone number to call. I called and the guy said he was on his way and just down the street. Called again 30 minutes later and he said he was almost there. I watched him and others walk out of one of the rooms and to the office. He couldn’t care less that I was there or had a reservation.
