"The cozy one bedroom hotel turned out to be a windowless closet. Because we objected so strongly to the host he was able to put us into a cottage since we were only staying for the one night. The cottage was acceptable except for the bed ..the picture on the website was not the room they were going to give us. Check-in said tell them you’re renting the front living room . There was just enough room for the bed and the toilet squeezed between two walls."

Hampton Inn & Suites Alpena

Hampton Inn & Suites Alpena

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was in excellent shape. The rooms were great. The amenities were good. There was an incidence and a scare with the elevator.\nWhere the attendant there, that night told us we were not allowed to use it.It was making noises and jumping up-and-down.That was a bit scary , but other than that , everything was great"
