"The elevator was not working properly when I was there which caused some inconvenience. The rooms are big and spacious. I wish the hairdryer was automatically in the unit and I didn't have to ask for it"

The Parc Hotel

The Parc Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Parc hotel for a week and it was great. A bit pricey, sure, but the most affordable one we could find anywhere in nyc that was clean and safe. The room was smaller than a “regular” hotel room, but it was very comfortable, clean and recently renovated. Wouldn’t spend all day in it, but comfortable enough for two people. Everyday we would come home to a made bed and a clean room. Flushing itself is busy and crowded, and a little dirty, especially on weekends. The hotel sits right in a crowded corner, but the hotel itself is secure and clean. (If you get a room with windows facing the corner it even makes for very entertaining people watching haha). Right across the street is a shopping center with a target and lots of food options. Also the food in flushing is AMAZING. It’s also right off the 7 train so it’s very easy to get anywhere. It is also walking distance to queens garden, Citi field, and the botanical gardens. The hotel had a nice looking gym although I didn’t have a chance to use it, and breakfast every morning. Basic stuff like bagels fruit coffee cereal and waffle maker. They also had pork buns every morning which were my favorite. Also had a very cute rooftop bar right in the hotel! Overall, definitely the right decision for a affordable (at least for nyc), clean and safe hotel. Would definitely stay again."

La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Queens NYC/JFK AirTrain

La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Queens NYC/JFK AirTrain

8/10 Good
"Clean room. Needs more lighting. Hallways and common areas show a lot of wear already despite it being a very new property. zero noise proofing so everyone speaking in hallway was loud in the room. No way to use hotel loading zone as it is permanently parked up with no one trying to clear traffic. Very close to MTA. Breakfast was fine - typical la Quinta fare. Workout room was better than average. Overall fine for a practical overnight before a flight. Don’t expect much."

"Clean rooms. Great and helpful staff. Place is quite outdated. For example, the latch on our window was broken. Other than that, no major complaints. Decent size rooms for the city."
