"A lot to like about this cottage, but we felt there should be more crockery and cutlery as the machine had to go on half empty or we ran out. The kitchen is a squash for more than 4 people at the table. Double beds could be a bit wider and we are quite slim people! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. "Very good quality accommodation in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales. Rather remote (which we wanted), the owners had arranged for some essentials to be provided for us in case we had forgotten to bring anything. House very warm, wifi worked well, some stunning views from the house and garden. We were a group of 9 walkers and found the rooming very good - so nice to find a large place that can convert double rooms to twins! Plenty of bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen."

"The cottage is a delight. It nestles in one of the prettiest villages in the Dales, conveniently located for access to many wonderful places to visit. We managed to arrive immediately after a heavy snowfall and our stay was during an exceptionally cold spell. The cottage was perfect. It was cosy and warm and the weather was not a problem. Our hosts were welcoming and accommodating."
