"This house was perfect for us to have a nice quiet getaway in a really cool / relaxed riverfront community. Very pretty backdrop. Property was very nice, clean, well-stocked, and in good condition. Beds are comfortable & furniture / decor was nice. The lower level breezeway with a hammock, ping pong table, & bar was great for hanging out. Fishing was good off the dock; we caught a 20 pound channel catfish & several 2-3 pound saltwater cats; saw a 30-40 pound alligator gar and a large snook. There’s a 100yd walk to a great restaurant & bar w/ live music. Yankeetown is a neat area and is fairly close to multiple different points of interest. I’d definitely stay here again as I thought it was an excellent value."
