"The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little antiquated but fine. If it were modern, it’ll be excellent.
Front desk: super helpful and nice.
House keeping: everyone was good except for the one day. One cleaning attended didn’t do a good job and tried to make it seem us as a problem. We left the room and when we come back the the beds were kind of made and the room has a smell that wasn’t there before. Like they used a steam vacuum with old water. On top of that left now towels for the room. We brought to the attention of the cleaning attendant and we very rude. Should’ve reported to someone but didn’t.
Parking: didn’t like the fact we had to pay for parking meanwhile casino goers it is free.
Dennys Restaurant onsite is nice for a quick fix/bite. Their staff super sweet and respectful.
They should have renovation for guest’s that stay in the far building. At least have an entrance there from the parking lot.
Pool area is nice and clean.
Overall a please stay. I would use them again."
"The resort itself is in a great location — being directly on the beach while also having stores and restaurants nearby was very convenient. The outside of the property was nice and presentable, and the staff we interacted with were friendly. It was also a gated resort, and despite there being stray cats, chickens, occasional iguanas, and birds wandering around, they were harmless and honestly added to the island atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the stay itself was disappointing due to the number of issues experienced throughout our visit. There were ants inside the room daily, the toilet tank frequently would not refill which left us unable to flush multiple times, and housekeeping only serviced the room every three days, which did not make much sense for a beachfront resort where sand is constantly tracked inside.
We also experienced our key card stopping working the day before checkout, loss of hot water one day, and during the repair process the water to the toilet was shut off and never turned back on afterward. Also, early morning construction noise was disruptive during the stay.
While the location and staff were positives, the repeated maintenance and cleanliness issues made the overall experience far less enjoyable than expected."
"Our stay at Villa Cofresi Hotel was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the views were beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food and drinks were excellent. It was the perfect place to unwind and make memories. We’ll definitely be back! Dennis, Jose and Jessica were 20/10"
"The hotel is a bit dated, but this was our third visit. The pool is glorious and sitting out in the evenings is perfection. The rooms are comfortable, the restaurant is not overly expensive but there are dining options within walking distance. We wish the rooms had a fridge.
The main drawback is that the restaurant is completely closed on Tuesday and Wednesday so you have to find coffee and breakfast - our biggest recommendation is to provide breakfast and coffee every day. Despite its shortcomings, we absolutely loved our stay and hope to return."
