"We arrived off season , We felt like the hotel was in a sleepy mood, we arrived late and although the reception was working all the lights at the loby where shut. In general it felt like the hotel has great potential, but even the pool was drained. The breakfast was served in a very small portions and didn't felt fresh. "It suited my purpose. Nothing fancy, but adequate. Only disappointed that when I arrived early all the way from America, they didn't allow me to check in for several hours when the place was empty, and they didn't offer to let me leave my heavy backpack with them while I waited. I had to walk around with it for a long time. Also, it was a hot day, and when I asked how to use the air conditioner in the room, rather then just pleasantly give me the remote for it, I had to hear a comment about it...

"We had a very pleasant stay at the boutique hotel Philippion in Florina, Greece. Unlike most other hotels in Greece, Philippion offers free parking along with a hot breakfast. Their garden of flowers and greenery is another rarity. The people were especially friendly and we had a pleasant conversation during our breakfast.
