Located just 6 miles north of Leadville in a private community, Bear's Den has some great amenities to offer for the whole family, whether it be winter skiing or summer hiking on the Continental Divide Trail! Upon entering this cabin, you will surely notice the attention to detail throughout. There is a laundry room for your convenience, an open kitchen with plenty of seating, views of Chicago Ridge, and a private lake in the back! A smart television is connected to the internet, along with a landline phone, and wireless internet throughout the home as well. Bear's Den has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a loft space with 2 additional single beds that can host up to 10 guests, along with a pullout couch. The owner provides firewood! This property is licensed through Lake County Land Use, License #2026-084

Fantastic cabin in the woods

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear's Den. It exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect spot for our family. Love the open kitchen and living room, with a view over the lake. I could imagine enjoying this in any season. We'll be back!

Great spot! Only downside was the 2 b-rooms were downstairs and relatively small. Everything else was beautiful. I recommend!

Just outstanding. We used this wonderful house for a ski vacation at Skin Cooper. Perfect location, beautiful property, and the best fireplace ever. Genuinely amazing.

Absolutely beautiful, super close to ski resort!

This cabin was beautiful. The views of the frozen lake WOW! It was so close the ski resort we were able to come back and relax eat and head back up in no time at all. Only issue we had was the driveway is at a slope and was iced over. We didn’t notice and when leaving we couldn’t stop and slid into a snowbank and that in an SUV. Did some damage but nothing major. Just something to be aware of. And we are from Iowa so ice and snow is nothing new to us.

This house is lovely! Well stocked kitchen and everything we needed for a relaxing stay; plenty of blankets, games, beds, etc. The views were incredible and location to Ski Cooper was close and easy. The host reached out the morning we were checking in and asked if we needed anything. We would definitely return!
