"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"Mooi ruim huisje, in mooie omgeving. Hele vriendelijke eigenaresse die tegenover de woning woont, en altijd bereid te helpen.Mooie badkamers en slaapkamers, en fijne keuken.Beneden in de woonkamer is airco. Boven in de slaapkamers helaas niet, daar was het warm.In de tuin was er weinig schaduw, maar de eigenaresse kwam nog een parasol brengen, dat was fijn. Waarschijnlijk is het de bedoeling dat er een overkapping (die stond er al) met begroeing zou komen, dat zou helpen voor schaduw bij de picknicktafels.We hebben een fijne week gehad!"

"It is a very nice hotel overlooking a really beautiful medieval town. The staff were genuinely very nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant was awesome and reasonably priced and the breakfast was very good too. The swimming pool is great and was open late enough to enjoy it even after a day on the road. We will definitely go back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone. Our only regret was not to stay longer."

"Michel and Asja were amazing hosts and cooks. Very friendly and amazing people! The owner is from Belgium and is a recreational pilot. Super friendly and lets you feed the horses, really cool experience and just nice people! Top notch French food and highly recommend, especially if you’re into aviation!"
