The makeover and additions to a centuries old stone country farm house are magnificent but not pretentious (describes the ambiance of our stay). If by train taxies a more miss than hit...the proprietors generously pick us up and returned us to the Gare' 25 minutes away (and should charge at least 30 euros for the round trip). "Good for an overnight stop enroute North to South in France. The drinks machine was out of order and no shops on the doorstep, ( nearest was 1km ), breakfast was fair but 9.5 euro's was a bit expensive. Room basic, shower and toilet in 1 room but no hand towel, only bath towel."

"We arrived before 18:00 so reception was closed. It was possible to place a telephone call and someone would come. Our English phones do not work in France to make calls. However, there was someone around to call the receptionist and so opened quickly. Food was very good both in the evening and for breakfast. Secure parking for our motorbike was reassuring."
