"A great place to stop off as a family driving down from the UK to the SW France. Very good value for two adjoining rooms, really modern hotel with a pool. The only let down was breakfast - they seemed to have been short staffed on the day with one stressed staff member trying to manage it all and the choice of food was limited. "We have stayed here many times and I would have given it five stars. However, we looked forward to our evening meal after a very long drive. Booked a table for seven, the restaurant had only two or three tables occupied. We gave our order, after one hour still no food and we noticed how busy with happy eating customers there were. Of course we complained, they forgot about us. Very upsetting and not a nice experience, at least they did not charge us for our coffee!!!"

"How did this hotel only get 9/10 in reviews?. Everything was great. The room was clean and well equipped, the bed really comfortable and the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant and found it airy with a relaxed atmosphere, service and food were great. Would completely recommend this hotel."

"We stayed for one night in the family suite. Big living space and 2 good sized bedrooms with aircon in each room. Kitchen facilities as well. Plenty of parking. Easy self service check-in. Breakfast was included in our rate. Not a buffet style but plenty of breakfast provided which was continental. Location quiet but a bit out from the centre. We decided to get a uber there and back as it was supposedly a 20 + min walk to the old town. No on site staff, however all communication was excellent. Would highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay at Maison Cavendish! The house was ample big enough for two familes (4 adults, 4 teenagers plus dog). The house is tastefully decorated and very well-equipped and includes a summer kitchen. We enjoyed bbqs by the pool. There is plenty to keep you occupied in the local area for a week. We visited the nearby lake and hired electric boats, canoes, and SUPs. We went canoeing at Hotel du Lac. The communication with Richard was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend!"
