"The room was in unacceptable condition: the bed was covered in dust, and the window facing the garden lacked screens, allowing flies and mosquitoes to flood inside when opened—which was necessary due to the hot weather. Furthermore, the TV was completely unavailable to watch the ongoing FIFA World Cup matches. "They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund.
