"The house is larger than it appears in the photos and has everything you would need. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and we filled the house with the Bridal party and our family. There is soo much character everywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, the kitchen had every amenity I could ask for. "What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place!"

We especially enjoyed the water activities and the hot tub, though the game room is really fun as well. "We communicated specifics with the owner, so won't go into full details. The location is great, but that doesn't overcome that it was uncomfortably dirty in many ways. AC went out, so with temps in the 90s the inside was a balmy 82...all night and no way to open the windows. The bottom line is, with this booking there was a higher than normal cleaning fee. When we arrived we expected the place to be spotless. It was the opposite.This is also a duplex. That was not clear to us when we booked....

"Great place overall! Comfortable beds, great screened in porch/deck with view of backyard, and incredible view of the water. Having a covered area with seating for the grill area was also a major plus. The property is in a location where no boats seem to pass by, so it’s extremely quiet and allows you to enjoy the sounds of nature. Hosts were very accommodating with a welcome basket, and having all important items/information labeled in the house. We would absolutely return again! "
