Hotel needs an update. Great location but rooms very dated. Toilet stained and carpet in hallways bubbled so I tripped - a definite hazard for an older person.

Commodore Regent Launceston
Bed is very hard and uncomfortable. Very hot in room, and air conditioner not up to the job. Rooms close to road are noisy due to Launceston's abundance of motoring enthusiasts with noise enhanced cars. Opened window to try and cool room but of course it is then even noisier. Country Club Villas
The room was clean, but the single bedroom unit we stayed in had no views except for the fences and the rooms of the neighbouring property. The carpet is old and the faucets requires maintenance.

Launceston Central Apartment Hotel
Rooms were spacious and modern. Change Overnight
Good location, inside is quite stunning with good views, however corridor of hotel was dark and scary. The soundproofing is also very bad and the distant clock keep chiming every 15min which didnt help. Wish there is more amenities eg only 1 box of tissues for the entire 2br apartment and upstairs ...
