"A fantastic hotel. The rooms we very clean. We had a great view from our room, looking out over the waterfront, with snow covered hills in the background. However, I believe that some rooms looked inwards over the hotel lobby. The hotel is spotleiclean and the huge hotel lobby has many features. The staff were supremely helpful and friendly, but at the fear of singling one in particular out - a big shout out to Olga, for whom nothing was too much trouble, a real credit to the hotel. The hotel is just a little way out of downtown Reykjavik, but there are 2 bus stops nearby, and the bus ride is only a few minutes into the centre. If I go back to Reykjavik in the future, then without hesitation, this is the hotel I would look to book."

"This was the cleanest, and coolest, hotel experience I've ever had. Very Hostel like, however the staff there was open to chatting and giving you tips on where to head in the city!"

"Location is very good for bus tour pickup and dropoff. Hotel is by Bus Stop 12. Restaurants and points of interest are within 3 km radius. Staff were very helpful and courteous"

"The shuttle is two blocks from the hotel. Staff were very helpful! Breakfast is good and plentiful (not cheap but no food in Reykjavik is). Clean, and very quiet rooms . Best bed in 3 weeks! Worst disappointment was clouds during the Aurora!"

"Beds are comfy and rooms are a good size. The hotel offers free coffee and tea all day, which is a fantastic amenity. "

"Even though the posting said that there would be someone at the front desk, they were reluctant to just check us in as normal. They had sent an email with codes to the front door and room door, which we thought was for after hours check-in. It was very snowy during our visit and they did not shovel or plow the front walkway, which was slippery to walk through and dangerous."

"Room was clean, able to request it to be cleaned each day of our stay with new towels too. Wi-Fi was accessible, didn’t have breakfast but appreciate the drawers and fridge for storing our own supplies."
