"This is a beautiful old inn in the heart of the Cotswolds. It was very convenient to all the places and sites we were planning to see. There are some hikes close by, and they provided maps and directions. The restaurant had a very good menu with lots of choices. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very pleasant and helpful."

Staff at reception were super friendly and gave us great local food tips. The location made it easy to walk the local retail park and train station in 12 min. "On arrival there was road works outside the hotel which we were unaware of. I had messaged to ask where to park but got no answer. The parking is payable across the road and behind some houses. The hotel building is very old and the bar area is quite nice. The two young lads on the bar were very nice and friendly. The room we had was in need of decoration and updating, not in good shape. We had drinking facilities provided but I’d advise take your own as the ones given were to certain tastes....

"The hotel smelled of humidity. The TV in the room didn't work. I went to change the remote control 4 times. Finally, I asked them to test it in the room to see if it worked. They put the remote control down and left. I went upstairs and the TV still didn't work. Since I can't sleep without a TV, it was important to me. The hotel is definitely not worth the price they are asking. And they are especially asking for extra parking from the customers who have already stayed"

"Got a really good price on a room with a gym on site. There was decent parking available and I got parked up near the entrance. I had a room on the ground floor which was close to the gym as well as the entrance. The room was pretty standard but what was required for me. I got shown to the gym which had new equipment and had plenty to choose from. I was then told it was an extra £5 to use it which would have been nice to know as part of booking the stay. I had a great workout at the gym then...
