"Room was clean but kitchen was pretty empty save for two coffee cups, two saucers and two spoons. Microwave, coffee maker (no filters) and fridge. No plates or utensils though I assume you could ask for them. Was funny because there were lots of cupboards and drawers with nothing in them. The staff is great thou so made up for it!

Torreblanca Beach Hotel and Suites Guayabitos - Desayuno y Comida Incluido
6/10 Okay
"We were very disappointed in the hotel. We were charged 4 star prices for a star 3 hotel. There was no blow dryer, no iron bathroom door was in bad shape. Breakfast and lunch was mediocre. However stall was wonderful, friendly, helpful and ready to help. We did not feel that we got our bang for our buck. Expedia should do their homework before charging these prices."
"There is only a gas cook top and blender in the kitchen, but a full size fridge. Dishes, utensils and some pots & pan are provided. A/C worked well. Very clean. Staff is very friendly and maintenance is prompt. The king bed was very hard, but surprisingly quite comfortable.
On the downside, there's a lot of street noise (vehicle traffic and LOUD music) if your window faces that way, and from construction on the property. "

Rosewood Mandarina is undeniably a stunning property. The setting is breathtaking, with lush grounds, beautiful beaches, and thoughtfully designed rooms that feel both luxurious and serene. The accommodations were a highlight—spacious, well-appointed, and seamlessly integrated into the natural surroundings.
That said, the overall experience was mixed. While the service was good, it lacked consistency and didn’t always meet the level one would expect at this price point. The dining was also just okay—pleasant, but not particularly memorable compared to other properties of this caliber.
We enjoyed certain activities, particularly the polo experience, which was a standout. However, other offerings such as the hiking and meditation experiences felt underwhelming and not especially well executed.
Our stay took an unexpected turn when we were unable to leave due to a cartel safety situation, requiring us to extend our stay by five additional days. While the team did their best under difficult circumstances and graciously comped one night, we felt there could have been more proactive guidance—particularly from the concierge—around support options such as travel insurance or alternative arrangements, given the significant added expense.
The spa is well done, though pricing felt excessive even by New York standards, and the gym is adequate. The butler service is a n"
"Rooms were not cleaned once during our five day stay. I had requested a lower floor due to disabilities and was put on the 4th floor, no elevators. When questioned the staff replied that requests are suggestions only, they don't have to accomodate, and wouldn't. Parking was extremely limited, our car was blocked in and we did not have access to it for the first 3 days there.
I would not recommend this hotel"
Decameron La Marina Guayabitos, Ramada All Inclusive Resort
8/10 Good
"Overall, my stay was good and I enjoyed the experience. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The amenities were nice and everything was generally well maintained.
However, the WiFi was inconsistent and difficult to rely on at times, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the music at night could get pretty loud, making it harder to relax or sleep.
Aside from those issues, it was still a solid stay and I would consider coming back with those things in mind."
"Very friendly and detailed staff. We forgot our passport in the room, the staff go beyond and over what they could to help a immediately secured delivery "
