"Well, where do we begin. From the second we booked, communication with Maria was brilliant, always very quick to reply to messages and when we actually met her, she was so friendly and provided a detailed and informative tour of the house. It was spotlessly clean, had absolutely everything you could possibly need and felt very homely. The description and photos on the site are accurate but looks better when you are actually there. The weather was very hot while we were there but the design of the house provides plenty of air circulating through the house so it was perfect. The location was great for us, we don't like the "tourist" areas as we like to feel part of the local community and we felt very "at home". There are restaurants, coffee shops, shop to buy provisions and of course the beach and natural pools all within 5-10 minute walk of the house. We hired a car but walked to Arrieta most evenings along the coastal walk, which took about 35 minutes at a slow pace, perfect. We had a great 10 days and would highly recommend Maria and her house 100%."
