"In downtown Rovaniemi and steps to efficient bus lines to airport and 10 mins to Santas Village. Breakfast buffet offered Lapland and western choices with bar and excellent coffee shop on property. The saunas were huge and legit and very well maintained. Highly recommend."

"We stayed for one night at Apukka Resort, and it was an absolutely unforgettable Arctic experience from start to finish! The Accommodation We stayed in an Queen Igloo Glass Cabin. Sleeping under the glass roof surrounded by the snowy landscape felt surreal. The cabin was super cozy, warm, and surprisingly spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a great mudroom area to drop off all our heavy winter gear. We were even lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights dancing right above our bed! Activities & Experiences During our short stay, we squeezed in Autumn Husky Ride on Wheels .The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable and warm the entire time. Dining & Service The staff at reception and the restaurant were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet at Restaurant Aitta had a great variety of fresh options to fuel up before checking out. Final Thoughts Even with just 1 night, Apukka delivered the ultimate Lapland bucket-list experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rovaniemi—we only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"This is a beautiful, clean facility. However, the design of rooms and spaces isn't really convenient for travelers. The narrow stairs to the main sleeping area make hauling a large suitcase up there challenging. Everything in all the rooms is electronic, including the toilet. Lights come on at night when there is any motion detected so that everyone wakes up. And then the toilet makes lots of noise going through its flush cycle. Not restful. However, we enjoyed all the glass windows and ability to enjoy the view outside day and night. It's a beautiful setting."

"A great hotel. Marja the receptionist greeted us with a smile, and was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, hotel has great food, even for vegans like us. We were able to use the hotel bicycles for free No hesitation in giving 5 stars all the way! The free gym we got to use was as good as our gym in the US."
