"Food lovely but no salad style options"

"Our welcome to high force was great and staff were amazing. We came back to the hotel after a walk to low force, just after the service for food had ended, but it was no trouble to staff to offer to make a bowl of chips for us as the fryers were still on. We did find the bed slightly uncomfortable and under bed may need to be cleaned but other than that it was great. To have high force tickets and raby castle tickets included was also an added bonus. The breakfast in the morning was lovely with plenty of choice. We did find a swarm of wasps out the front of the property when we were eating breakfast and heard other guests mentioning the same. We would love to come back to the property and would recommend as such a lovely special place to stay. Thank you."

The George Hotel

"The check in was nice and easy and the receptionist was very friendly and informative, went to the room from the outside through a door at the side which was in much need of an update, as was the rest of the hotel, the room was basic but very clean had a view of the disused pool and overgrown garden, the view of the river however from the beer garden was very beautiful. The food was nice and staff friendly but It took forever to come and it seemed very disorganised, one hour forty five minutes for one course, had to ask for the dessert menu, I understand it had been a busy day but thought it was too long. We had a nice stay but maybe stay somewhere else in future."

Langley Castle Hotel

"We had such a lovely stay at Langley Castle Hotel. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and made the whole experience feel really special. We stayed in the Percy Room, which was full of charm and character while still being very comfortable. Staying in an actual castle was such a unique experience. We also loved walking the nearby trails and grounds — it was peaceful and beautiful, especially in the evening. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, with great food and a really nice atmosphere, and breakfast the next morning was just as enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable stay and somewhere we’d happily return to"

Tufton Arms Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The property is obviously old. But the room was well kept, clean ans everything worked. TV was small but we never turned it on. Breakfast was through the shop, which I never knew was there. But cooked to order, fast and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful Stairs were creeky but its obviously an old hotel, door was locked when we got back but I was happy with that. Would stay again"
