"Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. "Good b & b experience: v good room for the £65 for 2 fee. Great breakfast: continental but with bacon & sausage. Dinner was pricey for pretty average food."

"We loved our stay here, friendly and helpful staff, great facilities (spa, pool, gym and beauty salon), beautiful surroundings. The hall is stunning, we really enjoyed dining there and the live music (piano man) was an added bonus. We will be back!"
