"Dominique and Laura are wonderful hosts. We travel extensively, and this was one of our favorite places to stay! The location is peaceful and serene. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight of the stay . . . delicious and homemade. The home is about 15 minutes from Saint Emilion and near several wineries. I highly recommend staying with Dominique and Laura!"

"A really charming place to stay, with a welcoming host, and comfortable room with stunning country views. The breakfasts were generous and delicious, with lovely homemade touches - all made even better by taking place in the beautiful courtyard. "We had a great two nights stay .. Melanie is great , friendly and helpful ! Staying there is like at home, as you got that kind of family touch … room is spacious and clean , views throughout the vineyards are stunning! Learned that owner’s vineyards haven been rented to Saint Angelus, one of our favorite wines, and that backyards has indeed enhanced our feeling. "

"The manager/owner was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and just right for our overnight stay. The restaurant downstairs was great, lovely food, good wine and reasonably priced. I would definitely return and recommend this little hotel. "

"best hotel ever"

"Great staff and lovely hotel in a small town."

"Outstanding all round!"

"It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region."
