"Great place to stay in Lamai. It is a bit of a walk to town (20min), but there are great places to have a meal or a drink nearby. The staff are awesome and the resort is well equipped. I had a peaceful stay and appreciated the overall quality of the resort. I was traveling solo, but could definitely say it would be a nice place to spend a romantic getaway. "

"A very quiet secluded resort, right on the beach. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished, no TV, just kick back and relax. Pool situated over looking the beach. The beach is shallow, at low tide you'll see it's not great for swimming, but the pool is spot on. "This was quite a nice hotel for the amount that I paid. It’s a bit rough around the edges but care is taken to really give the place a luxury, wellness vibe. It’s right on Lamai beach and not very crowded. Plenty of options to find your own private swimming spot on the beach, which i really liked. There are 2 nice big swimming pools and the surroundings are so very nicely landscaped. "

"Had an excellent stay and can’t wait to visit again on our next trip to Koh Samui! The staff were so sweet, the cabins were beautiful and super cozy, and the pool was our favourite pool ever!!! 10 minute walk from busy area (shopping, food, spas and nightlife) about 6 minute walk from 7 eleven. We cannot recommend Samui Wooden Hill enough! "

"A surprisingly excellent stay! Given the price, we had low expectations, but were greeted by a spotlessly clean twin room. The shared shower and toilet facilities were equally spotless, with lukewarm water and decent pressure. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A rooftop seating area, reached by a steep black ladder, made a great spot for morning coffee. We couldn’t fault it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Note that air conditioning incurs an additional charge."
