"Spotless room, very helpful staff, beautiful gardens"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Merlin. The hotel is beautifully set in a jungle oasis, yet walkable to plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the nearby village as well as some great bars, cafes and massage parlours along the beach. The room was very comfortable and spacious, although the jungle setting did mean it was a little more difficult to make good use of our balcony due to the mosquitoes and meant a few more bugs than normal seemed to get into our room and luggage. Breakfast was fantastic with a great variation and selection. The pool areas were great and there was never a shortage of sunbeds - either by the pool or the beach. Thanks for an enjoyable stay - we’d be happy to return!"

"A fantastic six night stay at Avani+ which was recommended by a colleague. Beautiful, elegantly designed resort with lush gardens and plenty to do (whatever the weather). Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the food was of a consistently high standard with lots of choice. What impressed us the most, however, was the staff’s courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail. They are clearly very well trained and motivated to make their guests as comfortable as possible - an example was arranging tennis bookings for us at a neighbouring resort whilst their court was unexpectedly under maintenance. Highly recommend the cooking class, climbing wall, and spa. Particular thanks to Julie and Gift on front desk, Benz and Biw in F&B, the Farm Boy, Ranisa the Director of Rooms, and Nan in the spa!"

"I stayed in Room 3208. I felt great thanks to the male staff who cleaned the room so thoroughly from the first day of my stay. If you can find it, please give me a compliment. Also, the pop welcomed us very warmly in the lobby when we arrived. It moved our luggage safely, and we met again when we accidentally asked for a buggy to go to the Olive Restaurant. It felt great to remember us at this time. And when we left, they watched us through the whole process while waiting for the taxi in the lobby after checking-out and even accompanied us with a safe ride in the taxi. Everything about Jw marriott was great, but especially thanks to the smile of all the staff, the comfortable wrap and decap, and especially the more memorable pop, I'm heading home with a good impression of Thailand. I'm currently preparing to leave Phuket Airport, and I'd really appreciate it if you could compliment both of them."

"We stayed at Wanaburee resort for 17 nights in October 2025 and found it to be an absolute dream of a resort. Our expectations were far exceeded by the location, the wonderful staff, comfortable accommodation, and the surrounding nature, not to mention, the resorts location on the beautiful beach. Most outstanding, was the friendliness, courteousy and attention to every little detail. that the staff gave. We love them all from Sali to Khim and everyone else. They all deserve great credit for their work. This hotel has given us all, wonderful memories of a truly great paradise, and we cannot wait to come back."
