"We arrived late and had not read the hours on the listing. Eli woke up in the middle of the night to welcome us and get us checked in even though it was beyond normal operating hours! The place was cute and unique, great bang for your buck and wonderful staff! Eli is amazing and I would recommend the hotel. Please make sure you don’t do what we did and try to check in late!"

"This property obviously took a hit since COVID, but it is still one of our favorite places to go. The food is still incredible, the staff are all friendly and welcoming, and there are still plenty of activities both inside and outside. The room was super clean and still beautiful. "We had a great family vacation and really enjoyed our stay. The walk to the lake was very short. The house is also in a great location and close to a grocery store and bait shop as well as restaurants. We enjoyed having the kayaks, paddleboard, and lily pad mat to use during our stay, and they made our lake days even more enjoyable. We also had the chance to meet the owner, who was very kind and welcoming. Be sure to look out for the many bald eagles flying over the lake and to their nearby nest. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing family getaway."
