"A great place for the dogs to stretch their legs while traveling. The home is very old, so don’t expect everything to be pristine. The beds aren’t particularly comfortable, and the sheets are microfiber, but considering the price, it’s hard to complain too much.The host was extremely responsive and informative, which made our stay easier. The home has beautiful stained glass windows in several rooms, and having onsite laundry was a convenient bonus.We enjoyed walking through the historic neighborhood and admiring the beautiful old homes. Dining options within walking distance are limited and on the pricey side. The surrounding area is an economically modest, urban neighborhood with a mix of historic homes and busy city streets.One thing to be aware of is that the property backs up to a busy road, and the train sounds its horn throughout the night, which can make sleeping difficult.Overall, a convenient and affordable stop for travelers with dogs who appreciate historic homes and don’t mind some noise and a few basic accommodations."

My reason for not giving 5 stars: No additional blankets, No coffee Maker, No hair dryer and it never cooled the upstairs well without freezing the downstairs (with extra blankets, this would not have been as inconvenient). "We had a wonderful stay at this rental in Valdosta! I’ll admit, we were a little skeptical when we first arrived because the surrounding area isn’t particularly upscale, but those concerns disappeared as soon as we stepped inside. The home has been beautifully updated with modern amenities, was spotless, and was incredibly comfortable.One thing we really appreciated was how secure we felt. The gated property and security cameras gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The house was also surprisingly spacious, it comfortably accommodated our family of six and our small dog without ever feeling crowded.The host was exceptional! Responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. The location was another huge plus. It was close to everything we needed and just a short drive from Wild Adventures, which made our trip even more convenient.Overall, this home exceeded our expectations. We had a great experience and will definitely be booking this property again the next time we’re in Valdosta. Highly recommend!"
