his is a Grey headed kingfisher that I saw in Lake Manyara national park in Tanzania. I added over 300 species of birds on the trip and even though all my guides were good I want to give special props to Fazo and Ebenezor from Asilia Africa

We were completely mesmerized by this sea of pelicans in Lake Manyara National Park. There were tens of thousands of them clustered together at the edge of the lake. We just sat and watched them for well over an hour. If only a photo could replicate the sounds these impressive birds were making!
