"The one bedroom unit has the basics but can use updating. It was clean enough for an older place. The upholstered furniture was not inviting. There is tv but no wi fi. The kitchen has the bare essentials but did not have a kitchen towel or anything other than towel paper to wrap food in. We used a purple bath towel for that purpose. We loved the location with easy and fast access into the National Park. "

"Can't think of any negatives? Well, it is supposed to be an original old-fashioned hotel so no, it doesn't have an elevator. The staff will haul it up stairs for you though."

"The room was clean, supplied well and was perfect for gorgeous views of the sunset, stars and mountains. It had a nice fire pit but a burn ban prevented us from using it. We still used the chairs for the desert and mountain views at night. The shared kitchen was perfect for a quick breakfast. All in all, I wasn’t ready to leave when y was time to leave 10 bits! I would recommend to anyone headed to Big Bend. "

"Great Views and Very Close to Big Bend. No Bathrooms in the cabin it is shard space. My wife walked in on a man going to the bathroom #2 and he had the door wide open and did not bother to close it once my wife walked in. Partly my fault for not reading the reviews and seeing others post about how small it is. The Pictures are very misleading about the actual living space. We made it work though and overall it was ok but i could have stayed at big bend station for the same price and not have a shared bathroom and bigger space to sleep "

"Got in and set up camp easily enough. Directions on VRBO to the site were incorrect but the owner messaged us and let us know. Bathroom was in good condition which was nice. Wish the campsite fire was in better condition and that there was more of a flat area for setting up the tent and wish there was a table to use. Good overall though and close to the park. "
