Now… relax, take a deep breath and imagine the following:

It's a lazy and bright summer afternoon at Villa Sol Nascente. It was an excellent family lunch on the kitchen terrace. Your friends went for a walk and took their children.
There is a faint odour of sea air and green fig leaves in the air… or could it be… mmm, almonds?

You are comfortably seated in the shade, on the terrace of the living room, with a glass of your favourite drink lying on the table within reach of your hand. You remember your child's summer vacation time when you hear the joyful voices of your children playing downstairs with your spouse in your private pool.

Beside you, is your youngest son sleeping soundly.

Surrounded by the relaxing sound of sparrows and swallows, they flutter and dance with the gentle breeze that makes the Algarvian almond trees sway around lightly. Nothing can be heard except, from time to time, the relieving faraway buzzing of the regional train passing, slowly, like time, along the large white sand beach.

You reach out and take a sip of your refreshing drink.
In front of you, not far away, is a breathtaking view of the verdant Algarve landscape and the great stretch of golden sand and blue sea of Meia Praia. Where the waters of the Mediterranean meddle with those of the great Atlantic.

You observe the long horizon and imagine how it would have once been, the ancient Portuguese sailors leaving Lagos to discover the unknown. It was right there in the same place you are looking at. You remember you have Wi-Fi and you can do a search on your smartphone on the topic ... -Naaa, not now. I'll watch a quick video at night on the internet.

As far as your view reaches, a 10-minute drive will take you to the right, to the historic city of Lagos and the stunning Ponta da Piedade. The 'Costa d'Oiro'. I read it's called that way. You decide that the next day, around noon, when the sun sinks in the ocean and reflects all its beauty, you must go to visit the breathtaking views and beaches of transparent water that you have been so enthusiastically recommended. Yes, Ponta da Piedade! Maybe I´ll be there sooner and lunch on little and beautiful Camilo Beach, who knows? Perhaps I'll rent a kayak trip before lunch for the family and go by sea to visit the caves on the golden cliffs of the area.

Your son woke up, you take the last sip of your drink and decided to get up. You hesitate to swim in the pool or go for a 7-minute walk and refresh your feet in the saltwater of Meia Praia. Maybe have a coffee on the terrace of the restaurant in the sand. Yes, that's a good idea.

You stand up, bend over the balcony and ask:

- Hey! I'm going to have coffee on the beach. Who wants to come with me?
-Yes! Let's get the ball!!

💦 The pool can be heated for the dates of your family stay!
💦 We recommend all our guests to have the pool water heated at any time of the year. Even in summer.
💦 You will be able to enjoy the pool even on cloudy, cooler days and at night under the starry sky! 🏊🏻‍♂️✨🌜

💦 PRE-BOOK POOL HEATING
. The pool heating must be pre-booked at least 10 days before the check-in date.
. When you book your stay, please let us know in advance if you want to use the pool heating.
. Pool heating is optional.

💦 POOL HEATING EXTRA COST:
. There is a separate extra cost per 7-night stay for using the pool heating.
- From June to September: 300 € (euros)
- From October to May: 400 € (euros)
. A quote will be sent for stays longer or shorter than 7 nights.
. This cost must be paid directly in cash at check-in time.
. This cost is non-refundable.
. We cannot accept cancellations of this service less than 5 days before the day of check-in.

💦 POOL COVER - RULES & INSTRUCTIONS
. The pool must be covered whenever it is not in use, and it is obligatory to cover it at night so that the water does not lose its temperature, which results in very high electricity costs.

1) It is mandatory to always cover the pool at the end of the day / in the evening or when you will no longer be using the pool during that day.

2) Uncover the pool in the morning or when using the pool.

. Guests are responsible for doing this task.*
. How to use the pool cover will be explained to guests during check-in.

IMPORTANT
.This task is mandatory, otherwise, the pool water will get much colder, and it will take a lot of energy and extra cost to heat it again. If the situation arises that a large amount of energy is being used, an extra charge will be applied.

. Usually, it takes 3 to 4 days (or more) to heat the pool to about 28ºC before guests check-in day.
. During use, a temporary variation in water temperature between 24ºC and 28ºC is normal, particularly on colder days.


* 💦 POOL COVER EXTRA SERVICE (Optional):
. Let us know if you'd like us to cover and uncover the pool during your stay.
. This extra service can only be booked for the entire duration of your stay.
. In this case, there is an extra cost.
. We'll discuss the details during check-in.


💦 SAFETY AND DAMAGES:

- HEAT PUMP
. It is strictly forbidden to tamper with or alter the heat pump's controls.
. Never cover the heat pump with towels or place other objects on top of the heat pump.
. Never sit, stand, lean/press on the heat pump.
. Do not touch or place objects/debris on the protective grilles or tamper with the heat pump pipework.

- POOL COVER:
When the cover is rolled up or unrolled:
. Never sit, stand or press/ lean on the cover roller.
. When the pool is covered with a cover:
. Never use the pool - REAL DANGER OF DROWNING
. Never step on the pool cover or place objects on it.

- IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGE TO THE HEAT PUMP OR POOL COVER:
. Any damage or malfunction of the cover or heat pump must be reported to us immediately.
. During the stay or after check-out, if damage to the heat pump or pool cover is detected, caused by incorrect use as described in these rules, guests will be liable to pay an extra fee to cover the damage.
