"The room was fine, we didn’t use the restaurant or gym, but the staff at the Starbucks was fantastic. Nice hotel for the price, we stayed for two nights, beds were very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. "

"We had to switch rooms twice. Deadbolt in first room didn’t line up. Maintenance tried to fix it but couldn’t in a timely manner. Second room was clean, VERY comfortable bed, highway noise was a minus but we were exhausted and it didn’t keep us awake. Next morning after showering the hairdryer was broken, coffee pot didn’t work. Tried to call front desk for a hairdryer and the phone didn’t work! Also, the toilet was very wobbly. The staff was polite and tried to address the issues. Nothing special about the complimentary breakfast except for a very sweet lady who personally made you Mexican scrambled eggs and they were delicious. I guess we would say it was a bitter sweet experience. "

"Room was decent, some attention to detail could be helpful like the used toothpick in the shower when we arrived. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great 9/10 on Saturday. Sunday 2/10 out of juice and pop, dirty bowls etc…beware elevators are insanely slow. "

"The facility was wonderful; the room was cleanly appointed and the hot tub and pool were very clean and well-functioning. The only negative remarks would be the breakfast was lack luster, including eggs that felt freezer burnt. Also, the coffee machine in the lobby was disappointing because it was a machine you had to pay to use (other than a small cup of drip coffee)"

"This hotel was a great starting point for exploring Kansas City. It is obviously an older building and could use some updating, but the staff were friendly and we felt safe and comfortable during our stay."

"The hotel is starting to show us age but while I was there I heard the mention that they are going to be doing a remodel this year. I am sure that will resolve any of the minor imperfections that the hotel shows. Overall this was a very solid day and I would be very happy to stay again at this location. The only drawback was a few spots of damage throughout the hotel as I'm sure it's been several years since it's been remodeled. The check-in process at the front could use some improvement as the individuals Manning the desk should not be doing this job. You do not put those individuals out there represent your company. It likes professionalism. But it wasn't enough that makes me not want to go here"
