"Wonderful French chateau with a wonderfully friendly staff. We extended our stay here due to the charm and ambience as we head to Spain for the eclipse. The room is perfect, with the best bed we have experienced this trip and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was also great. Spectacular value for money. I highly recommend a stay here."

Two good restaurants in the village of Assignan including a great breakfast.. many others within a short driving distance. "We booked last minute since we arrived to Carcassonne earlier than expected. The hostess graciously accepted our booking and made us feel exceedingly welcome. The property is gorgeous, high end, very comfortable, and clean. We felt like welcomed family. The bed and pillows were great. The air conditioning was perfect. The bathroom was well equipped with amenities. I wish we could have stayed longer! The included breakfast was lovingly prepared and ready at the time we chose. It was so much more...

"I booked this room specifically for the A.C in the room. It worked fine the first night but broke the second and I had to open the window. It’s near a major road ao it was very noisy. Other than that, it’s very clean, and the staff is very friendly."

J’y retournerais"
