When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. "This was a lovely hotel to stay in overnight on our way South. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice walk in showers and tea and coffee making facilities. Hotel staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. We ate in the restaurant and they were very accommodating to my GF daughter, adjusting the menu for her needs. The food was good. An added bonus was the lake which was a 2 minute walk and had a beach and swimming. There was also a beach bar and an ice cream parlour."
