"The check-in process was a real problem because I never received email with the instructions. So before I left the airport, I checked all my emails again and then called the hotel which wasn’t easy. You have to wait for them to call you back to get the instructions and how to check in. The instructions to find the hotel once I got to the right Metro Station were also not helpful.
Biggest problem was the USB connection in my room didn’t work, which I didn’t discover until I unpacked, put everything away, then to make a long story short, I had to change rooms. That took three hours trying to call somebody and waiting for them to call me back several times. I talked to somebody in Bulgaria, somebody in Estonia. So it was all very difficult and stressful.
Also, I didn’t realize the breakfast places were not in the hotel and they were hard to find. The morning I checked out, my breakfast pass didn’t work, so I had to pay for my breakfast and then that was corrected and I got a refund. But that was another hassle.
So all in all, there were a number of challenges, it was quite stressful, and I wouldn’t recommend it. If I were to come back anytime soon, I might consider staying there now that I know the drill. The place itself was fine. The room was small but functional and had a kitchenette, which was great and unexpected."
