Perfect location to be close to the airport. Staff were lovely and friendly.
I guess you get what you pay for. This was just a 8 hour transit layover, not overnight stay. It is close to the airport, so was convenient enough to have a bed, toilet and bathroom to rest in before the flight. The alleyways made it feels a bit unsafe, but it is Bali.
The staff was a young male who did what he could with limited English, and was prompt and quick. I appreciated his help. They organise in room massages, so that was great to have before the flight
Walkable from airport which is why we picked it. Wasn’t the cleanest and they only provided one towel when 2 of us stayed. We also found previous guests belongings in a draw. The staff there were nice, just needs a little tlc.
Whilst the booking process was easy and the accommodation had a vacancy for our specified date/time, it was a very basic experience. The AC did not work well, the bathroom/toilet door did not close and the TV had only local Indonesian channels available. It is a homestay and even though you are accommodated in individual rooms there is continual noise from the family and other guests. The area is clean but very dated. Overall the cost represents the value of accommodation you are receiving.
The bathroom hadn’t a toilet seat
The bed hadn’t a flat sheet and hotel didn’t provide any on of it
Water was coming around the toilet floor
Bath towels look like dirty
If you're sensitive to energy think twice about this property. It has a very off feel and reminded me of all the old dodgy back alley places from the late 90's. I couldn't stay there longer than an hour and luckily I'd only booked for one night even though I needed three. That's why I'm leaving a review for those who book for a week. Be careful of booking long stays before you see and feel the property as it's quite unfair they can false advertise but have a no refund policy.
The young guy that showed us the room was really nice but after seeing the room I decided to look for another hotel that was more suitable. The pictures are very old as the room I was given looked nothing like the advertising which feels light and welcoming.
They basically got a donation from me as they refused to refund once I'd seen the room and I stayed somewhere else close by. I got three nights in Dewi Sri Kuta for a similar price but it's wayyyyy more modern, cleaner and central with a high vibe.
The air conditioner doesn't work well at all, so we very staying inside an oven dripping in sweat. Also there were no windows for air unless you leave the doors open which is unsafe if someone walks into your room at night while sleeping.
