My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Raaya! The free transfers as well was a great perk. We were greeted at the airport in Male and were taken to where we were supposed to go for the seaplane transfer. Truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish arriving in paradise via seaplane! The island, room and food were wonderful. Our trip was made extra special by all the amazing staff, the most attentive and personalised experience I’ve ever received and it wouldn’t have been the same without them. From the moment we arrived at Raaya by Atmosphere, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. The hospitality set the tone for what would become an unforgettable stay in paradise. Our beach villa with a private pool was the perfect sanctuary for our family. Surrounded by breathtaking views and thoughtfully designed amenities, it offered both comfort and elegance. The room was impeccably clean, and the snacks and minibar were a delightful touch. Raaya strikes a beautiful balance between privacy and vibrant energy. Whether we wanted quiet moments or a lively atmosphere, the resort delivered. The sports facilities kept us entertained well into the evening, with paddle tennis, football, and mini golf among the highlights. Dining at Raaya was a daily joy. The buffet consistently impressed with its variety and freshness, especially the desserts—some of the best we've ever had in a buffet setting. While the meat in some dishes was not the best quality, the sauces more than compensated, bursting with flavour and perfectly complemented by freshly made naans and rotis. The resort’s restaurants were exceptional, with The Village and Ampersand being particular favourites. Ampersand dazzled. One of the most admirable aspects of Raaya is its commitment to sustainability. From eco- conscious architecture and energy-efficient systems to locally sourced ingredients and community engagement, the resort embodies responsible luxury.

The staff were the best we have ever encountered. So genuinely interested in your every need, very happy not stressed or bothered no matter what we needed just so happy to help. Lovely vibe, beautful high quality hotel. Could do with more bikes as not enough to go around and it was so fun cycling around the island. Amazing inclusive package, top masseuses my daughters had the best massages. Great cocktails lovely villas. Good value for money.

The island is lovely great staff, it has a good selection of food and drinks. It is let down but the arrivals/departures. They do not tell you your flight times until the day of and we ended up waiting in the airport for 3 hours on arrival and a further 5 hours on departure. On arrival they do offer a lounge but on departure nothing is offered and you can't even check your bags as it's soo early so it's a long wait in a very loud airport.

Our stay was so memorable because of the wonderful resort amenities and top service by their amazing staff! Achala, our ever reliable and attentive personal concierge, arranged our itineraries; he coordinated dinners (my wife's birthday dinner was a 5-course meal with singing staff), excursions, gym and spa schedules, a surprise room decoration (by Jahid), and he also left my wife a handmade card! We're there only 4 days but Achala, the gym coach, spa ladies and Mary at Raaya Life are like long friends already. We'll surely come back. 😊

A lovely stay!

We travelled to Raaya in Jan 2025 for our anniversary for 5 nights and our stay was amazing! The Raaya staff we always friendly, accommodating and wanting to help us. There is a selection of different food available and activities / excursions that can be arranged. A memorable and plansant stay and would definitely come again. Special thanks to Dana our island host who was always available to help and made our stay worry free. We had a smooth arrival and departure via seaplane. Thanks to Jahid for providing excellent house keeping, the friendly staff at the dive centre for our excursions and also staff at the restaurants Himashun, Chanchal, Suriya and Sharif for great shuttle service on the island. We had lovely sunny weather and were told there were some rainy days prior to arrival. We stayed in a water villa which was lovely and peaceful, regularly cleaned. We would definitely recommend this island of paradise and hope to return! Thank you.
