We have tried different dishes from most of the food stalls and feel this one has the best quality, consistency, taste and price. They make a great Tom Khai Kai, Pad Se-eew Goong and Pad Thai(no tofu at it is dried out). Enjoy. #market

Good for the price but not close to anything...

I stayed here for a week and it suited me just fine. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, the free WiFi worked well and the staff were friendly and helpful. There are not many facilities at the hotel though the coin washing machines are handy if you are staying for a while and they also do scooter hire. It is in a quiet location which is good for sleeping but the only things within walking distance are a few shops. It is about 10 mins by scooter to Chaweng beach for swimming or the nightlife. Overall it is great value for the price if you don't mind being back from the action a little bit...

Poor poor hotel ... all do it yourself place

Very poor hotel. It doesn't even have a bell boy to take the luggage to your room and there are no lifts ... you have to climb al the way.... no hot water in the room and no things for making your own tea... minibar is there with no stock ...

Great Hotel...but too noisy at night.

This is a great hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff. The room for the price is beautiful and great. The hotel has onsite massage in the lobby and a nice cafe. The proximity to downtown Chaweng is great. Here is the only negative and it is a big one. The area is very noisy at night. There is rock band that plays unitl 1 or 2am about 1 block away. Very loud motorbikes (with no muffler) drive by all night long. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. Solution: Bring good ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones. The hotel should considering closing the windows at night to try to alleviate noise problems. Also, the bed was too hard. Need softer beds.

バスルームのシンクのストッパーがなかったので、洗濯に困った。レセプションでバケツを借りて代用した。 ホテルの１Fにある、マッサージは地元の人も利用しているくらいだったので値段も手ごろなんだろうと思った。

Nichts besonderes, aber OK..

Dieses Hotel wird nach meinem Eindruck überwiegend von Thais genutzt, das erklärt vermutlich auch das schlechte Englisch des Personals. Sogar mit der Rezeption ist eine Unterhaltung zuweilen schwierig, email Anfragen wurden nicht beantwortet. Dies war nicht mein erster Aufenthalt und wird nicht mein letzter sein. Es ist jedoch ein Fahrzeug erforderlich um an die Stände oder Hotspots zu kommen, da sich das Hotel doch etwas weiter weg vom Chaweng Beach befindet. In meinem Fall war dies ein Moped, welches mir die nötige Beweglichkeit verschaffte. Empfehlen kann ich V.S. Motors Moped und Autoverleih die sich an der Straße zum Chaweng Beach befinden (ungefähr auf der Höhe der Tankstelle, ca 1,5 km vom Hotel, rechte Seite). Dort habe ich schon oft (und günstig) gemietet und noch nie Probleme gehabt. Das Hotel hat selbst keinen Transportservice und Taxis (auch Sammeltaxis) fahren selten vorbei. Es ist teilweise sehr laut durch die Lage an der Straße und Leuten, die meinen ein Schalldämpfer wäre überflüssig oder auch Lautsprecherwagen. Warmes Wasser zum Duschen gibt es nicht, jedoch ist es auch nicht wirklich kalt. Die Bettwäsche wird nicht täglich gewechselt und die Klimaanlage ist etwas laut...

Steinhard seng og dårlig frokost.

Resort??? Litet hotell med kun apartments, "vad vi fikk beskjed om vart fall" Kan var greit i maximalt 1 natt. Rommet vi bodde i var ny restaurarete men dårlig dusj, STEINHARD seng og naboen brente kokosnøtter i 3 dager... Området er ca 25 min gang fra stranden chaweng og er meget lokalt preget med søpel på gatene og MYE løse hunder. Rekomndere ikke dette hotellet!

A nice hotel with thin walls

I stayed in Samthong Resort the first week of 2014. The hotel is overall in a good condition, rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. However, the walls in this hotel are very thin, which makes sleeping difficult when people are walking and talking in the corridor. There is not much in the vicinity of the hotel except for a shopping center.

Ett par minuters taxiresa till och från stranden

Jag och min partner var mycket nöjda med vår vistelse. Enda nackdelen var att vi trodde att vi skulle klara att gå ifrån hotell till stranden, men i och med att trottoarerna är näst intill obefintliga så vart det ganska snart klart att det var taxi som gällde. Utifrån det pris vi betalade för rummet är vi mycket nöjda med städningen och rummets standard. Vi var dock inte så imponerade av frukosten, som serverades halvljummen.. Personalen var hjälpsamma och vänliga.

Hôtel idéal pour les petits budgets!!

L'hôtel est assez loin de tout ! Toujours prendre un taxi , il n'y a pas de piscine . La wifi capte très mal ! Le personnelle est sympathique . Et question propreté je me suis retrouvé avec un cafard juste derrière mon oreiller juste sympathique ! Ce méfier des étoiles cela ne veux rien dire

Mycket trafikstört

Slitet hotell med papperstunna dörrar. Det så kallade superior rummet med möblerad balkong visade sig vara ett normalrum med minimal balkong på drygt 1 kvadrat. Frukosten är inte värd sitt namn. Kort sagt, välj ett annat hotell.

Great value for money

This hotel is not luxurious but it was very clean, well maintained and in good condition. The staff were helpful when needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. For the price I can not really fault it.
