Nice little get away spot. View was beautiful, beds and shower comfortable. We would have benefited from a pearing knife to cut our bagel and apple. One other suggestion is a taller faucet in one of the sinks to better wash dishes and fill water bottles. Great spot! I would highly recommend!

It was indeed an awesome view. The hosts are really friendly. It has a separate entrance which is nice. Walking distance to downtown if you don't have a car, but if you do there is a place to park. My husband, son &daughter enjoyed their stay at The Emerald Isle Getaway. They said it was a very nice house in a great neighborhood. It was easy to find & Michele very easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Kodiak. Thank you!

Kodiak is a great starting point for the more remote areas.

Kodiak is a great jumping off point for wilderness trips to fish and see the bears. We also took a rental car, VERY expensive, for a day to drive to the end of the island to see the whales. Not a lot to do in the city itself.

Kodiak is beautiful. The second day there it was overcast but otherwise sunny. I love the ocean and boats so it was nice to see both. Great fishing and just a pleasant place to relax.
