"Cam with my daughter, a friend and her daughter. It was a fabulous experience. My 3rd time to Railay. I LOVED that it was directly on the beach and pretty easy to get to and from the walking street and pier and such. Loved being on Railay as compared to in Krabi or on AoNang. Family friendly (halal) no alcohol. Food was ok so we took advantage of a big breakfast as late as we could and enjoyed food at the walking street. Coffee was horrible. Horrible. The coffee shop around the corner was great tho. Summer Fresh, I believe. Unfortunately doesn’t open until 8am. We chose the option to be picked up & dropped back off at the airport and took a van to a waiting area then a samlo to the pier and a long boat to the beach property. No problems at all and helpful staff. Pools are great, rooms are comfortable and clean! Hong Island is worth just spending a full day there but we did the 4 island sunset tour with the bio illuminescent plankton. Super cool! Beautiful all around. Fantastic tour guide that we booked at the hotel."

"Staff was amazing. They really were exceptional from any angle you look at it. They were the best part of the experience. The scenic views and stellar beaches were great too. Food was high quality, kayaking was a blast. I love Krabi and I've been there a few times, but this time was truly a unique experience, largely due to the staff and the hotel. I hope they're getting paid well because they're definitely doing their jobs well."

"Start the day with a great Thai breakfast then a long walk. When you get back a 1hr Thai oil massage then a nap. Then wake up and go to a locals kitchen and enjoy."

"Our Trip to Thailand for our 16th anniversary was simply amazing. Thailand is a must go. Avani was a wonderful part of our experience with gracious staff, and need to shout out to Yob, Who was there for us everyday to assist us and get us up and down the mountain from our villa to the lobby so many times....Our pool villa was fantastic and strongly recommend. all the staff at Avani were there for us. The breakfast was fantastic. We loved our stay at Avani."

"The room was nice. The lobby was total chaos at all times. Breakfast was a complete disaster. The food sucked and it was far too crowded in the dining area. I was constantly protecting my food from flying insects."

"The staff was very understanding and helpful, we had a day of travel issues and disagreements- they met us with acceptance and kindness through all of it. Even though we actually gave them a bit of a hard time (so, sorry about that!)The resort is exactly how it is advertised, cleaning staff was great and wow, those guys can carry heavy bags with ease! We noticed that other parts of the island were under construction and it was very messy on the back side of the resort. I can imagine it is difficult to get garbage or debris off of the island though. This is an authentic and rustic island stay. My fiancé and I were completely happy with what we booked. If you are looking for some distance from the beach parties to recharge, this is your spot!"
