"We stayed for two nights(family of three with sofa bed). The location was convenient, and there was plenty of parking available. The room was fairly spacious, but the bathroom was quite outdated. The sink had a large crack, and the shower was slightly leaking. One of the lights was flickering, the overall lighting in the room was insufficient, and one of the bedside lamps was not working. The bed, however, was comfortable. The biggest issue was the poor soundproofing. From as early as 6 a.m., we could constantly hear children crying and shouting, running and jumping in the corridor. Even at night, there were multiple occasions where groups of children were running and yelling in the hallway. We could also hear people repeatedly slamming doors, which made the room shake. This may be due to inconsiderate guests, but better sound insulation would certainly help. "

"Straightforward and great value accommodation. Suited the needs of me and my two children for a short visit to Liverpool. The property had everything we needed and the check-in and arrival procedure was clearly explained. The property is a bit away from the city centre, but we knew this at the time of booking and there were different bus options to get to the city centre and plenty of space to park a car if you needed it."

"Breakfast was late with cold beans on the first night and no toast. They take some time to get into the swing of it. Go later than as soon as they open. Toilet door broken and unable to secure, even though numerous attempts had been made previously. Not what would expect from an Executive room"

"Basic accommodation on the outskirts of the city centre, but absolutely fine for what we needed as somewhere to base ourselves. Helpful staff and room facilities were fine, with in-room shower excellent. Shared bathroom worked better than might have been expected and, altogether, place was fine for what it was."

"On arrival staff member (or manager) appeared complacent and somewhat uninterested. Did not show us to the room, although easy to find (not accessible for anyone with a disability - two flights of stairs - not lift). Room was spacious for two. Given it was an old-ish annexe part of the main building the windows were draughty even with what seemed like outdated secondary glazing that barely closed (room 4). However, if you come by vehicle vans use the front car park opposite the pub/hotel (2 car parks available-front & rear), then this room allows you to keep a keen eye. Also a CCS & ChadEmo charger (Osprey) in car park. Back to the room and en-suite was clean but oh my days, the noise when running the sink tap (which was loose and required tightening) and flushing the toilet! It was akin to the sound of a macerated or pump. Very loud and not something you could use early morning for fear of waking other guests up (or your partner). Small built-in wardrobe enough for several hanging garments. TV and hair dryer supplied and basic tea/coffee supplies with kettle (unused). Bed appeared to be Queen size, which was surprisingly comfortable and spacious with adequate duvet cotton cover. Carpet was stained in patches but not immediately obvious so not heavily soiled, just old. Access and egress of the building was via a dedicated ‘fire escape door’ unless during opening hours and then you could do so via the main entrance."

"The host cancelled this booking 3 hours before check in claiming issues with electrics and heating. She offered a sub standard property on Anfield Road, as a replacement with no reduction in cost even though the property offered was much cheaper. When we contacted Vrbo they held a three way conversation where the host said she was too busy to speak (even though support is 24/7) and we should email on the Monday after our weekend break was over. We passed the property we had paid for (the one here) and there was someone in there charging their car, so there was clearly no problem with property, she just changed ours for no reason. We did not stay in the second property we were dumped with. If I could give 0 stars I would. To date she has not repaid the money we paid. Issues such as broken back door so no security, no parking permit, garden gate held shut with a stack of chairs, hardly any cutlery, dirty pans some with food still left in to name but a few issues."
