"Never had a worse experience with a front desk/check in. After 36 hours of travel, I was
1. Given a key that didn’t work. Had to drag two huge bags back to the lobby.
2. Approached a supervisor at the desk, was told to go to the other desk and speak to her colleague.
3. Dragged cases to next desk, given new key for same room.
4. Lugged cases back to room, key worked, but room was unfortunately occupied by a lovely older couple who were terrified when I walked in their room.
5. Lugged cases back to front, explained. Was asked if I was sure someone was in the room??? Yeah, didn’t hallucinate the nice couple.
6. Given new room, other side of hotel. Lugged bags, entered, actually no one else in this one, yay. Laid down. Five mins later a knock at the door. Was the front desk clerk saying so sorry we put you in the wrong room. Please come with me. Back to desk. She did lug the bags and exclaimed wow these are really heavy.
7. We go back to lobby. She tries to speak with the supervisor, and is brushed off, told in front of me the supervisor was busy.
8. Key given for third room, fourth trip from lobby. Was told I could have free breakfast the next day, which I didn’t want and didn’t use.
Never seen anything like it. I will say the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful."
