"Hotel was overall good bit dated food in restaurant was very good shower didn’t work in first room so we got upgraded to another room reception staff were excellent she even came and helped us move our stuff. Door lock went wrong on room but was sorted really quickly. We were there for 3 nights used the pool which was nice but jacuzzi was not working unfortunately. Sorry sounds a bit negative but there was a lot of good parts as well and if we were up that way again we would stay there"

"Beautiful property in a stunning location. The combination of an amazing walk on the doorstep, private swimming pool and jacuzzi to relax in and a quiet location made this everything we were looking for when trying to find the perfect relaxing weekend break. The hosts were friendly and on hand if we needed anything. The house and swimming pool were spotlessly clean and well maintained. An overall 5 star experience! Looking forward to returning again soon!"

"We really enjoyed the whole stay. The scenery and set up is beautiful. Our room was lovely and bedding clean. Staff were amazing. Very friendly. The only issue we had was the food. We have a meal in the restaurant and it was £16 for a microwave curry. Drinks expensive and breakfast basic. This is the only thing to let it down. However there is plenty of food options in Matlock Bath itself."
