"I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Embassy Suites in Destin Florida Miramar. Unfortunately, this property did not live up to the standards I expect from the Embassy Suites brand. The hotel was advertised as being on the water, which it is not. Additionally, the pool was closed for the majority of our stay during spring break, which is completely unacceptable given that this is one of the busiest times of the year. To make matters worse, the water was shut off for two separate nights during our stay. The hotel was completely sold out, yet management still chose to conduct maintenance during peak spring break season, which significantly impacted the guest experience. I typically do not request refunds, but due to the number of issues we experienced, I believe compensation is warranted in this situation. "

"The property was extremely well priced. Kelly was very easy to reach if I had a question. You're only 1 1/2 blocks from the ocean, and 3 blocks from RTE98 where you can find everything you want from restaurants to shopping, etc.If would stay here again for sure."

"Beautiful condo with plenty of space for a family of 5. We loved the ocean views from the patio and living room and quick walk to the beach. "

"Very clean property and the beach is beautiful. For those who might need 4 actual bedrooms the bunks are out in the open area in the lower level—not enclosed in a closed door room and you have to go outside to access that area. The lower level has an odd smell but probably just humidity related? Not sure. Managers are very responsive but you will also receive some auto emails with inaccurate and old info which could be confusing, and a few with warnings about extra fees they will charge if you break any rules. You cannot leave anything in the rental such as beach toys, cooking spices, tinfoil etc. that might be useful to the next renters and there are no games. They do have extra beach chairs. It would be nice to have a small tool kit—finding a screwdriver was a mission one day! There is also not a grill if that’s important to you. They say there is no smoking on the entire property, even the parking lot but several units were smoking on their decks so not true for the whole property if that is an issue for any. Parking is tight as mentioned in the property details but there is info on the fridge that says to call a number to find out how much Alvin’s charges to park in their lot. We called and it was clear that Alvin’s was annoyed their number was being given out-they do NOT have parking for a fee on their lot. Laundry is in the lower level so be sure to look in the bedroom closets for the basket to carry it down in, which we missed until the last day. "
