"Stayed 3 nights at the hotel in a standard room. The room was small by western standards but was very well appointed and had everything a couple would need. We stored our large suitcases under the bed and it worked out well. There was a desk area and mini fridge as well as a variety of places to store other items. The room appears to have been recently redone and there is plenty of lighting. The bathroom was a good size with a tub and shower combo.
The hotel is in a great spot, located on a quiet side street 1 block from a major street. There are 2 JR train stations located a 5-minute walk in either direction. There is also a Family mart directly across the street as well as a 7-11 one block away. The Imperial palace national gardens are about a 15-minute walk while Tokyo station is a 40-minute walk. Ikebukuro is 15 minutes by subway. The hotel is great if you want a budget friendly choice (but more upper-class experience) away from the tourist crowds but still have easy access to everything you want to see and do.
There is a restaurant on the main floor as well as a well laid out laundry area/lounge complete with vending machines. It was cheap for a load of laundry and the machine locks with a code, and you can watch its progress on your in-room TV.
The staff were great, facilities updated and overall, a great experience. We would highly recommend."
"Amazing staff, clean, good amenities. Building itself is really something to marvel at. Location was slightly far from the main train station (10min walk), but it was made very easy by the over street pedestrian walkways. Very close walk to Ginza as well!"
"A nice and clean hotel with a great location. Bed was nice and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. The room is small as indicated but it’s perfect trade off for space and cost. I don’t come to Tokyo to sit in the hotel."
