Super clean, beautiful home. Even better than the photos! Great home base to explore the kitsap peninsula and beyond. Kitchen and bathrooms were well outfitted. Nice, comfy beds with high quality linens. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.
We were on the island for a wedding. The location was perfect. Our Texas family enjoyed the view of the ferry and Seattle. I would definitely stay again.
What a beautiful home with a great view. We had a great time watching the ferries and other vessels. Enjoyed Kingston and it's Christmas display. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
This was our second visit to this little home. Totally enjoyed our stay. Sat on the new front deck and never tired of the beauty that surrounded us, the entertainment of the boat traffic and wildlife. We even saw an orca and porpoises. We hope to visit this cottage again. Thanks for sharing this amazing property.
The cottage is perfect for 2 couples and could accommodate 2 more people in the twin beds. The kitchen had adequate dishes and cooking pans. We spent a lot of time on the front porch watching ferry traffic and cruiser boats travelling on the sound. We walked to the dock and took the fast ferry(40 mins) into Seattle. We ate pizza at Willy's(very good) and and walked to the ice cream shop. We hiked at Foul Weather Bluff and Ludlow Falls. We also walked the Saltair Beach in front of the cottage.
The Owners listing is accurate, the pictures depict the overall condition of the property and amenities with no unwanted "Surprises.
There is ample parking for 2 cars behind the property in the alley way. There is "NO" parking on the street in front of the property.
The best part of the property is sitting on the covered porch watching the boats and Ferry. The weekend we stayed at the property had beautiful weather with a little bit of fog in the mornings. We enjoyed being able to walk to the Ferry and the restaurants nearby. The empanada's at the nearby "Argensol Kitchen" Restaurant were really good, very authentic.
We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property for a long weekend or short stay.
Details about the trip, door codes and basic information was sent and received +/- 3 days prior to our arrival. It would have been nice to have this information sooner to coordinate travel plans with the Family. We were traveling from Arizona and didn't have access to the internet or a computer for most of the week prior to our arrival.
The view...amazing! We sat on the porch for the majority of the time we were there. Whether it was watching the ferries travel back and forth, seeing the eagles flying around, or catching glimpses of the hummingbird and bunnies in the yard, it was so relaxing.
The neighborhood...very walkable with great places to grab coffee, drinks, food. Don't be surprised to see a couple of deer as you walk around. :)
The house...very clean and well appointed. There were ample towels, kitchen supplies; they even thought of the little things, like boxes of tissues (I can't tell you how many rentals we stayed at that didn't have any tissues to be found) and even some board games.
I would definitely stay here again!
The following are not complaints, just suggestions we'd like to pass on to the owners:
Installing a shade on the side of the porch, to help provide some shade as the sun is rising, would be a really nice touch.
Replacing ceiling lights with fans that have light kits in the bedrooms would help circulate the air.
Beautiful location and easy location from ferry and other Kingston locations. The house itself is beautiful and well appointed. It has everything we needed for us and our 9 year old twins. On night one we even had a guest hang with us. Views, home, hosts all stellar.
The house was Very Clean, well maintained, decorated super cute, and the host was very helpful. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch watching all the Sound Activity as well as through the large picture windows. Kingston is a fun spot and an easy walk from the house. We also enjoyed the pedestrian only street in front. I would highly recommend it.
This property is a piece of heaven on earth! From the incredible views to the quiet neighborhood and the awesome hosts, everything was perfect and as described. The beds were very comfortable and the hosts made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay again!
Second time there. Love the house, area, and views. Beautiful location to watch ferries and walking distance to good restaurants. House is awesome. Perfect place to relax and on great shape
Great location and everything was wonderful. Views are amazing and close to walk to park, marina and restaurants. Love the little wine bar, owner is so nice and knowledgeable. Pictures accurately show the beautiful and cozy spot. Very homey and clean. This will be our first spot to see if available for our next trip.
I, my daughter and granddaughter enjoyed staying here to attend a wedding. It was perfect. The view of the water, ferries, Mt Ranier and Seattle skyline in the distance was an unexpected bonus. The cottage was immaculate. Decorated tastefully and up to date on everything. The gliding chairs were a special treat to sit in to enjoy the view from the porch. We could walk to town and there is a walking path to enjoy the sound. We loved it!
Very cute beach house! We were in town for a wedding. House was very fun for the 5 of us. Walking distance to ferry and some very cute places to eat. House had everything we needed! Would stay there again. Thank you!
We had an amazing, relaxing family vacation here. The location couldn’t be beat. The views were spectacular. We had so much fun watching the boats.
The house was really cozy and felt great. A dishwasher and garbage disposal would have been great though.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
This property has unobstructed views of the Puget Sound, and is within walking distance of both the Edmonds Ferry and the Kitsap High Speed Ferry to downtown Seattle. It is in a quiet village, but with walkable access to both ferries. The property was well maintained. well stocked and clean. We loved our stay, and the great hospitality of our hosts.
