The Space: This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is perfect for group getaways for any time of the year! Located minutes from Tahoe’s beaches and slopes, you are in a prime location to enjoy it all. Unwind after a fun-filled day at the home where you will find an open and social layout, 2 living rooms, an upper-floor balcony, radiant floor heating, and a fenced backyard offering plenty of room for your group to spread out.
As you enter the front door of the home you will come to a split entryway where you can either head to the upper or lower floor. Make your way up the few steps to the main living space where a bright and open kitchen/dining/living greets you. This space boasts high ceilings and windows all around filling the area with natural light. The inviting living room is the perfect spot to relax and connect with loved ones with ample seating for the entire group. Outfitted with a plush couch, loveseat, and recliner, settle into the comfortable furnishings while you warm up by the gas fireplace. The stone accent wall surrounding the fireplace is an eye-catching feature in the room! A mounted TV and surround sound speakers provide all you need for movie nights at home for those nights you want to unwind after exploring. Or, step out the sliding glass doors to the upper deck and take in the fresh Tahoe area and views of the surrounding area.
Opposite the living room is the kitchen and dining area making it easy to stay connected to your group while in this area. In the kitchen, you will find ample cabinet and counter space, like new stainless steel appliances, and all the basic cookware to whip up some delicious meals at home easily. The kitchen boasts granite countertops and a spacious kitchen bar with four bar stools making it a great spot to grab a snack or relax while keeping the chef company. Just steps away you will find the dining area with a table with seating for 6, with windows surrounding the space you can dine with a view! The main living area features ceiling fans keeping the area nice and cool on warm summer days.
A hallway leading off the main living space takes you to a powder room and the master bedroom. A bright and inviting space, the upper-level master bedroom boasts a king-size bed in a log bed frame with complimentary furniture that includes nightstands, a large wooden chest for storage, and a dresser. A desk makes for a quiet workspace for those needing to keep up with any remote work, and a mounted TV can be viewed from the bed. The room is filled with natural light from soaring windows overlooking the trees and features warm details such as painted walls and plush carpeting. Adding to the comfort of the bedroom is the spacious en suite master bathroom. Complete with a double-sink vanity, a jacuzzi bathtub, a spacious shower, access to the walk-in closet, and a separate room with the toilet, comfortably freshen up before tucking in for the night.
Make your way downstairs where a cozy second living room greets you. This space is perfect for quiet movie nights on the flat-screen TV or hanging out with your group! The room features comfortable seating with a plush oversized queen sofa bed and 2 chairs and includes access to the attached garage. The downstairs full bathroom is situated just off the living room and is well-set up for sharing with ample cabinet and storage space. Well placed for the guests of the downstairs bedrooms, the bathroom also includes a large jacuzzi bathtub with a shower combo.
The first downstairs bedroom features a queen-size bed in a sleigh bedframe, a vanity dresser, a large closet, and a cozy wooden rocking chair. A bonus to this bedroom, you can step right outside via a sliding glass door that opens up to the backyard. The home’s third bedroom is perfect for sharing as it features both a twin-over-full bunk bed, AND an additional twin bed. A spacious closet provides ample space to store personal belongings. Both of the downstairs bedrooms feature ceiling fans and plush carpeting for additional comfort. Rounding out the downstairs is the laundry room where you will find a newer full-size washer and dryer to keep up with all your laundry needs.

The Neighborhood: A charming home tucked among the trees mere minutes from King’s Beach, you will be in an unbeatable location to enjoy all Tahoe has to offer! Located just over half a mile from Secline Beach you can easily walk down to this pet-friendly beach and enjoy the volleyball courts and BBQ areas. Or head over to King’s Beach a half-mile from the home and spend the day on the big sandy beaches where you will find every variety of watercraft available to rent for some water fun! This funky little beach town area has plenty of entertainment and dining options for you to enjoy with a wide variety of restaurants to dine at, cute boutiques, a farmer's market for shopping, and free concerts that happen in the summer. If there is a golfer in your group they will love the fact that the home is only a two-minute drive away from the Brockway Golf Club course. In the winter the golf course is open for XC skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and dog walking. You are also under 10 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort with the bonus that the house's location will keep you away from the ski traffic through Kings Beach. If you are looking for XC trails you are a 6-minute drive to the North Tahoe Regional Park, or if you are feeling extra adventurous you can access their trail system from Tiger Ave which is about a mile from the house. This same trail system is great for hiking and biking in the summer. With its easy access to town, ski resorts, golfing, and the lake, this cabin is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.
Getting Around: The home is within a 6-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop HWY 28 a Bear St which runs every hour. Or make the short (under half a mile!) drive or walk down to King's Beach where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 and 28 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas around Tahoe City.

Other Things to Note: Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.
Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.
4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
