Don't get me wrong - I wholly appreciate that it's a 3 star hotel - I am not expecting 5 star standards or service.
However, regardless of the star rating, the very least a hotel should be providing is somewhere clean, well maintained and staff who show some semblance of friendliness towards guests.
Whilst check in and check out were not terrible - I certainly did not feel 'welcomed' on check in or 'appreciated' on check out.
For a 3 star - the bedroom was very spacious - but very, very dated. But the lack of details was dreadful - storage shelves far too high, dirty plug sockets, in the en-suite - it was full of "screw holes" not filled in, a hand dryer that doesn't work (so just remove it) - the shower head was far too close to the wall.
The room just needs to be updated and cleaned properly.
The canopy out the back is littered with holes - just remove it.
Listen, the above may sound "small" (to some people) - but I am tried of businesses not doing what they are supposed to. Their websites are laden with superlatives - but then in reality - I rarely see them.
If you say you're going to do "A, B & C" - or that you are "A, B & C" - then do what you say. But stop under delivering and over charging - it's so insulting to a paying guest."
