Always a wonderful time

This is the fifth time we visited Mike & Lisa’s rental, and every time has been better than the previous, which is impressive as all of our visits have been fantastic. The cabin is unparalleled as is the hospitality and they have their own wonderful greeter in their cat, Okie.The space is very comfortable and clean, and has all the amenities one could hope for. Since our first visit in 2022 we’ve made it a pilgrimage at least annually. You will not find better hosts. They’re awesome!

My husband and I absolutely loved everything about our stay at this property. The owners are wonderful people, their property is gorgeous, the house is clean and comfortable, and the views are stunning. It is far enough away from town that it’s peaceful, yet just close enough to Keystone, other area towns/cities, and area landmarks and travel attractions, allowing for the perfect mix of relaxing, shopping, entertainment, being outdoors, etc. Again, I will emphasize, the owners of this property are fabulous! Which makes this location all the more perfect. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great get away in the Black Hills!

Beautiful home away from home

This was our honeymoon stay and we loved it!!! Beautiful, clean and the owners were some of the most welcoming and friendly people. Phenomenal

The trip was a last minute get away with my boys. Literally a day before we decided to hop in the car and drive out to South Dakota from Illinois to see the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, and the Wind Cave National Park. We chose this property do the the view of Mt. Rushmore off the back deck as well as the modern look on the inside We made the trip at the right time as there were very few tourists and the weather was low 70s everyday. We hiked up Black Elk Peak after visiting Mt. Rushmore. The scenery is breath taking. The owners were very nice and helpful. I am so glad we made the trip.

Beautiful rental in the Black Hills. Well supplied with everything you might need. Central location to everything we wanted to see and do. Mike and Lisa were very nice and accommodating. My husband and I have stayed at numerous places and this one is the best places we’ve ever stayed at. Lisa and her husband have thought of everything you could possibly need or want. Lisa and Mike have an incredible property and are the ultimate hosts. The cabin is SPECTACULAR looking from a ridge to Mt. Rushmore in the distance. We sat on the deck and watched sunrise hit the monument and the illumination at night. We've stayed in several VRBOs. This is the best!

Wish I could have stayed longer

This place is perfect for a couple. Clean, attractive, surrounded by trees, easy to find. There is a nice balcony with a view of the far-away Mt Rushmore. The hosts were welcoming, informative, and responsive, and live next door. We had lots of privacy. The apartment is accessible via an outdoor staircase. My only tiny complaint is that I wish the toilet had a door for privacy. Nevertheless I would stay here again.
